Well I guess I have now officially joined Web 2.0 with my own Dominion Fertility Facebook page. Although I am slightly worried that Facebook could prove as addictive as pinball was for me in college I am willing to test the waters and see how it goes.

Hi Dr. G! I was wondering, what is your opinion of fertility supplements? (Like Fertility Blend, FertilAid or the herb Vitex.)
Would any of these be problematic if I am already taking Metformin for PCOS?

I will 35 in a few months, have PCOS (am obese), and have undergone 2 IVF cycles. I seem to have only one ovary that responds to meds - but got 4 eggs each time, 100% fert w/ICSI (all transferred - grade 2/3 on 5 pt scale - mostly 8 celled, 3dt)...I had a nat pregnancy just last august (m/c - maybe ectopic, had one in 2004). What are my chances if I can find the money and strength for a 3rd shot?
I just posted, want to add I had a child in 2006 ...he was a clomid miracle.
I think that Fertility Blend is probably OK but I am not 100% what is in it so may want to show it to your RE.
A third IVF is a good question and best put to your RE. Given the previous pregnancies maybe you can defer ICSI this time. Also seems unusual for a PCOS patient to only get 4 eggs....neeed to discuss with your RE as well.
